Campaigning for women's right to choose abortion since 1972

WAAC's Banners
WAAC's banners have been prominent at women's marches, events and rallies for over 40 years, and will continue to be carried wherever women fight for reproductive rights and justice.
Some WAAC banners painted in the 1980s are still in use today, and new banners are created to meet changes in medical technology and political attitudes.
WAAC banners have been proudly carried at Sydney's International Women's Day marches nearly every year since 1972.
Check out the gallery to see some of WAAC's banners 'at work'! And if you have photographs of any WAAC banners or posters you'd like to share, please contact us, we'd love to post them here (credit will be given to the photographer/owner).
